Post 5: Videogames

 

Hello bloggers & gamers. My point of view on this topic has been one of evolution. I never had a game console growing up and it hasn’t been until recently that I started spending (wasting) my time playing games. I am not a point of reference as to what kind of games are out there, like genres or what not, but I do have experience with videos games, as I think anyone my age would. When I was lucky enough to hang out with a friend with a game console, we usually played FIFA or some other soccer game. That was the extent of my gaming experience growing up. As you, I was usually a bystander or spectator and didn’t want to get involved because I didn’t want to suck.

 Now with technology and its advancements, I  have a laptop on which I have taken up gaming, specifically Valorant. Valorant is a first person shooter game where you form teams of 5. One team plants a bomb and another tries to defuse it. Each character has a different power or skill to fight. There are four different types; Initiator, Dualist, Controller, and Sentinel. With the right combination of these on a team and the right strategy, you will come out on top!
